Hello Hara,
Great capture of a female Scarlet Marsh Hawk in the 'prevention of over-heating by the sun' position, putting its body right up to minimise the area exposed to the sun.
Nice frontal POV and compostion to show the main features well.
Thanks for sharing this,
Ivan

Hi Haraprasan,

Hi Haraprasan,

A nice dedication to the competitors. We don't often see an upside down dragonfly and this is wonderful. Great view of the face and the wings. Beautiful golden tones against the blurred background.

Jane

Again with those award winning folks..They really have started something and you are now official:-) Fine image HP! You should know abut th4ese h? colours spot on!
bob

Hello Haraprasan. Beautiful shot from the top. I like the color and details in very good framing. Well done and best regards. Jusni

It is the POV in this picture that wins my heart, HP.
Besides, the unique golden pigmentation on the abdomen and the base of wings makes this female Scarlet Marsh Hawk a thing of true beauty.
The image is sharp and crisp and the central position of the subject within the frame looks rather apt here.
The two contestants from Romania and Poland would be happy with your dedication.
TFS and regards.

Hi Haraprasan and many thanks for this dedication.

Sorry i didn't see it before but i was either away or very busy with work.
Anyway, it's nice to see that people here are appreciating our friendly competition and the diversity in Odonata species it brings.
I must congratulate you on your nice shot here and the healthy number of great macros you have contributed recently.
I really like the composition here and the pose you managed to capture from this hawker. Very good POV and very nice BG, too.
Perhaps a bit soft on details, but no matter...i'm very thrilled about the dedication!

Bravo, TFS and thanks again
Horia

Hello Haraprasan,

Hello Haraprasan!

Big thank you for dedication! I'm really glad that you observe our friendly competition with Horia. Great gift for us both - beautifull dragonfly in obelisk pose. I especially like yellow spots on wings and simply composition.
