Hello Sumon,
Though I don't usually make critiques on zoo life, this caught my eye not only because it is a fine close portrait, but because this is not a stork but a crane. I think this is the Sarus Crane (Grus antigone).
I wish you a healthy and happy 2008 with many fine photos!

Hello Sumon,
We saw these beautiful Cranes in Queensland, Australia but never managed to get very close. This is a splendid close-up showing sharp details and lovely colours. The profile stands out very nicely against the background. I've never seen a close-up like this before and really appreciate it!

It certainly does look like the usual capture for a zoo type of park with room to roam about...I saw the fence in the background...but no matter it is pretty much out of focus...and one cannot stay on it long for the rich colour of tech bird and it's sharpness overall... A Sumon story!

Excellent DOF, color, exposure, and razor sharp Sumon..The only thing that takes away slightly is the patterned BG..If you're a nit-picker, which I'm not of course ;}

This is a strange Crane, really ! I had never seen it before. I love the red colo of its head and eye, and these strange black feathers around his neck... Excellent sharp details, nice natural colors, wonderfulcomposition and POV, and the BG is blurred enough to make the bird stand out. Very well done !
