Varanus salvator, the common water monitor. Not perhaps a great shot in any way, but i chose this as my first post as it was one of the fist nature pics i've taken.
I'm new to this game and all comments and suggestions are welcome. |

Hello friend, sometimes the quality does not matter. The photo is reasonable rather quite good and the information for indentification so valuable and of utmost importance for friends abroad. Identification matters most besides the good shot which one takes. Knowing a plant, bird and animal inside out increases knowledge and learning of self and others. Good camera and shots will follow. Thanks for sharing it.......warmest regards/Abid

Nice shot of the monitor lizard. Kolkatai eta kothai paoia gache? White tipped pit viper -ki chiriakhanar?
Regarding the photo, I think a little lower point of view, i.e. taking the shot while lying on the ground, would have been even better.
Thanks for sharing.
