Hey HP,
This is a very nice composition.I been thinking of looking this one up ever since i saw Loot' comments on Sumon's shot and also of Sumon's mention of your earlier posting.Hence this is an absolutley fitting contribution also to one of the best learned TNer like Loot who is an avid watcher for "limited edition" species and who also is constantly motivating several of us to delve deeper into the depths of nature.
A lovely horizontal composition with good details and colours.Wonder whether you had gotten to the ground for this one!The bokeh BG is interesting and the colour of your subject contrasts the environment so well.
TFS & Cheers

To be very objective, your image in LP is as good as Sumon's, HP. I have seen both works today and they are fresh in my mind. In fact, you have achieved greater balance in this large image and despite its size, the LP is as crisp as it would be in 800x.
I am sure Loot would be 'chuckling' with glee on seeing this image dedicated to him.
He is the most affable, funny and lively amongst all of us oldies.
Thanks for sharing this brilliant image and take care.

Hi Haraprasan
Wow, not only do I have the pleasure of getting my wish granted to see a full image, but I have the delight in seeing it in an incredibly done Large Version image as well. Then of course there is the added cherry on the cake to receive the privilege of the dedication which came with it. This is my lucky day my friend and I have to express my utmost and heartfelt appreciation for this wonderful gesture.
This presentation (and especially the large format posting) doesn’t have to stand back even a half a step for any other posting of this beautiful lizard. Just imagine, a week ago there was only 1 photo of a female of this species on the site and now suddenly we have 5. This just shows what a bit of a challenge and some friendly rivalry can do and after all, the entire Internet community benefits from this sharing. That's why I love this site and its wonderful members so much.
This is an awesome shot of the lovely Agama. The whole lizard lies parallel to the POV so the DOF worked perfectly and ensured excellent details throughout the complete range. From the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. The DOF also ensure that the full BG was well isolated and OOF thus all that the eye can see is the subject and the surface it was lying on so there was nothing else to distract or lead the eye away from the point of focus. The composition is fine with excellent positioning of the lizard and sufficient space left in front. The colour saturation was done at the appropriate levels and the exposure was spot-on making excellent use of the fill-in flash. I do not see any mention of a tripod, but if you shot this front the hand at 1/80 seconds, then it means you got a pretty steady hand and with a couple of years of studying medicine could perhaps qualify as a neurosurgeon.
Great work MF and TFS.
Best regards
Loot

A nice accomplishment. You seem to have thrown all but the creature OOF. This one is a step up from the last...and Loot..yes I should have dedicated my image to him today as well...perhaps tomorrow...Very nice HP! It is well framed and rightly noted.
