This is a nice study in browns!
The Rusty Darner is well captured with fine sharpness, the body looking like a miniature bamboo pole and the OOF natural BG shows it up nicely in lovely lighting. Great POV and composition too.

A nice capture, with great colors and nice BG,I saw the first dragonfly flying by today,so the season has started here as well, tfs

Hi Sumon, a perfect portrait of my prefered insect, the details and the colours are impressice,my best compliments,Luciano

bonjour sumon
tres bonne netteté et profondeur de champ, toutefois je pense que l'image aurait été mieux a la verticale, juste pour eviter que la tête de la libellule ne pense vers le bas.

Hi Sumon,
what a fine macro of this dragonfly!
Though I don't think it's a Rusty Darner. You see the eyes don't meet at the top though the Rusty Darner's do. I think this is a sub-species Club-tail Dragonfly though I can't be more specific.

Anyway back to the photo!

Gorgeous colours and perfecft light.
Excellent DOF and BG.
Superb composition.
Very well done Sumon!

Joe

Hello Sumon

Sumon, the beauty of this capture is incomparable!
This is one of the finest Dragonfly pictures I have ever seen on TN.
The image is perfect in every respect but what appeals the most about it is the kind of artistry that stands apart as 'classic' as against the merely technical.
Thanks for sharing this great image and looking forward to the next in this series.

Woooow ! Superb close-up for this lovely "libellule" in french.
The "+++" : composition, nice subject, pose, POV, sharpness, great details on body + wings, DOF, neutral BG, exposure, warm colors, instructive complementary note...
The "-" : I am jalous :-))
Congratulations my friend and thanks for sharing this beauty,
