Hi my dear friend, it may be Odontoscelis sp. (Scuttellaridae, Heteroptera) but I am not sure exact id. You captured these small insects in very well. TFS.

Very nice picture of these bugs. I think Bayram is right with his determination of Scuttelaridae, same family than the jewel bugs. Good sharpness and natural colours.

Hmmm...You know with all of the problems (oil, rice, weather) in the world, we may yet see lines for food here in the US some day and maybe sooner than later...tough times in the world HP! A nice image..and I see someone has ID'ed it perhaps...Well done in the horizontal!

Hi Haraprasan,

Whatever they are there are a lot of them. I love the four lined up close together towards the tip of the stem. They are in all different positions so we get lots of views of them. Really nice composition and colors.

nice shot of this Nursery of beetles :-) (they look more like Tortoise Beetles than Shield Bugs though I'm not an expert).
Very sharp and crisp especially in the LP.
