Hi Iris!

Not just a pair... but really a beautiful and funny one! They look so cute and at the same time they make me smile, probably because of the wild look of one of these fellows. From the technical side, I like the strong colours very much and don't believe that details are missing. The picture is clear and sharp and has a very pleasant impact.

Hi Silpa. You have captured a good close up of the pair. This is a bird i have not seen before so thanks for posting. You have good detail and warm colours. The two bird still looke sharp to me. A good POV/DOF. all with interesting notes well done TFS.

A fantastic shot of this pair of birds which I have never seen nor heard of before. The poses and expressions are wonderful. Beautiful colors - marvelous details of their faces and feathers. I love their eyes and yellow beaks. It would be worth another trip to New Delhi just to see these. A superb setting and composition. I love it!!!!

The image has a very high quality. there are both sharpness and very good color rendering that gives value to the photo. Excelent details of bird's plumage can be seen. You have made very good use of the fine natural light. Background has an excelent pattern enhacing the sharpness of the main subject.

Hello Silpa,
What a delightful capture from your window! Taken from a great POV with excellent sharpness, colours and detail I am able to tell you that these are Jungle Babblers (Turdoides striatus). The White- headed or Yellow billed, as it ialso called does not occur north of Kerala and these do not have cream-coloured heads.
But what's an ID when you have taken such a fine shot!

A nice capture taken out of your window with a lovely couple,imho neat image is a great PP tool but if you as you say feel that your image quality is lost by the use of it I prefer a bit noise on a capture,anyway tfs

You camera really works very well and you skill is excellently displayed here. The sharpness with shallow DoF is very effective.
The birds are so cute and innocent. The brown is not that easy to project its beauty but you did. I like those eyes and ruffled feathers on the neck.
Brilliant composition and really pleasant capture. It is a celebration...a splendid one.
