Hello All,

I request the ID for this picture please. I was targetting the spider posted earlier. But suddenly my eyes went on the leaf and to my surprise this little insect was hiding inside the leaf. I tried my level best to adjust the lens to get a glimpse but no luck. It was flying from one place to the other. Somehow I managed to take a some pose with that I can see the wings and eyes clearly. Hope I will be able to get the ID. I am not sure how the quality of this shot will be appreciated but this is the best I can reach to shoot the insect as I was actually sorrounded by water(that too waste sewage) and no where to reach to the branch.

Thanks for looking.

Hi NG,
More than the photo technique, i must appreciate that keen eyesight that helps you spot these creatures. Well done!!

Hola ganesh, es una CRISOPA, complicada de fotografiar, se alimenta de pulgones y es buena para controlar plagas en el campo.

All I can say is, a fine neuropter from the look of it Ganesh, I could be wrong of course, even at that level, but the point is, you've captured (twice) a fine looking tiny insect, my friend. TFS and cheers,
Mehmet

Hi Nara,i think it's a Crisopa Neuroptera, one of the most difficult insect to take, beacuse live alwyas under the leaves ad have a very particular body.My best compliments for the great details,if you want to see i have one in a page 11 on my gallery. Thanks for share,Luciano

Hi Ganesh,

I'm amazed you spotted this insect which is the same green as the leaf. The only thing different is the wonderful eye. Both shots are wonderful with excellent details. A very nice presentation.

Hi Ganesh,
this is a Green Lacewing if I'm not mistaken :-)
Nice pair of shots of it too.
That red eye is great!
Superb detail and sharpness.
DOF is a bit shallow but that is the only nit.
Well done my friend!
