Good capture of this Hoverfly on a leaf, Ganesan.
You must have noticed that these insects have turned out to be my favourite subjects in the recent past. They are photogenic creatures and look good in macros like the one you have shown today.

Excellent capture of a hoverfly taken wiith good clarity, from a dorsal POV and with enough detail that would enable an expert dipterist ID it. Nice lighting and composition too.

Hello Ganesh,
Maybe a DOF is not perfect and some parts of fly body are out of focus, but this is still an interesting Syrphidae species. I also believe that it was rather small specimen, so bravo for taking this picture :)
Colours and POV are very good too.

Good macro of this little hoverfly, Ganesh.
The colours here are really vivid but still natural.

DOF is good but the focusing is slightly off.
