This is such an unusual bird, it looks a bit like a clown.

It must be much more difficult to capture if it inhabits tall, grassy areas!

These are one of my favorite birds and so very hard to photograph - I tried. How did you get so close? Wonderful colors and excellent details of the face, beak, crest and plummage. And a lovely pose in the grass.
