[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the first time I ventured out to shoot dragonflies and it was a great experience.
These were shot at the nehru park in chanakya puri in new delhi.
I am not too sure of the ID and would like the knowledgeable brethren here to throw some light on that! Is it, by any chance, the common skimmer?

I was using my 70- 200mm F 4 L with 65 mm of ext tubes and tried to get in as close as possible, hence had to sacrifice getting the whole dragon into the frame.
I do have some with the whole body and will share later.

Excellent closeup of dragonfly in nice pose. Colors, exposure and DOF are all outstanding. Very pleasant blurred background. Sorry, I am not familiar with the species.
