| The common Rosefinch is now not common in India. You have to search, you have to trace them. Quite shy this bird prefers to inhabits in scrubs and open forests;prefers cold weather and mostly found in hills, specially in Himalayan region. |

nice capture of the pretty rosefinch! :-) the details and pose of the bird are great, just the focus is a little soft
and there is some slight noise. good presentation & take care, thor.
Well thor is right about some but still the capture being unique makes it most worthy and you know it as I am sure all who are around you know..hard to find in your area but found by you!
Bob
PS The kids are coming over for a Holiday and ask about your book all the time!
Hi Mr. Partha,
A nice capture of this common rosefinch. Good composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.
This is a lovely delicately colored image of a feeding Rosefinch, who posed for you most cooperatively. I have a comment and a question. The comment is that sharpness is sometimes a function of the computer screen the photo is being viewed on, and with my computer, the sharpness is acceptable. The question is, why are your many of your photos taken at ISO 800? I prefer to use a lower ISO whenever possible to lower of background noise.
Best regards,
Lois

Hello Parthasarathi,
A fine close view of the Rosefinch hanging on a branch in a nice pose. I love the colours but I wonder if you cropped this a lot as there is a lot of noise. Otherwise a lovely composition.
TFS and regards, Ulla
