[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The festival season has already begin. The coming months will be colorful and soon it will start with Deepavali / Christmas / New Year etc. Another year will begin. The process will increase our life span by adding one more year to the age and reducing the life of "Nature" and its species.

My active part in preserving our park continues. I got a lot of coconut/mangoe/ and other flowers planted to attract insects and flies.

Now to the picture
==================

I dont know family of this butterfly but in my three years of nature photography this is a unique experience. The butterfly was sitting nearby a flower and many times I attempted to take it in my hand failed. Holding them is actually next to impossible due to their fast movement. This one not only sat in my finger for a quite long time and it allowed me to take shots in many angle (will share later) and it was such a lovely feeling as if I am holding my son.. Just thought of making a composition next to the flower to show the beauty of black n Red.

Thank you for watching and hopefully I will receive the identification soon.

I have not done any changes to the original picture but only reduced the size and made the border.

Wish you all a very colorful season ahead.

Ganesh

It is a rich and beautiful specimen, Ganesan. And it has consented to sit on your finger. I think a nature photographer exudes positive vibes to make the animal feel at ease.
A really wonderful picture with superb focus and wealth of details and colours.

Hi Ganesh,

I just looked at my outdoor thermometer and it is 103 degrees. How can you talk about Christmas? This black and white butterfly is gorgeous, especially against the beautiful red flower. I don't remember ever seeing this butterfly before. If I had tried to let it come on my finger I am sure it would have flown away. You work magic! Colors, details and composition are superb.

Best regards Siggi

Preciosa toma Narayanan, de bellos contrastes y colores. Dificultad en la realización por los negros y el estar aguantada la mariposa con la mano. Muy buen trabajo.
