Hi Ganesh,
this is a species of Agama Lizard.
Great dedication to Paul. It suits his style of photography perfectly.
Sharp and well composed with brilliant colours.
Well done,
Joey
Hello Narayanan,
This is such interesting specie that you were lucky to see. I have to agree about details that are a little blurred but it worth the post as I think that this is unusual specie to me :) Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Ganesh,
This is a lizard of the same species that I had posted earlier - the Oriental garden lizard (Calotes versicolor). It shows a variety of colours, and is commonly found in our country. Of course, it is an agamid lizard. This shot would have been so good if the head hadn't gone out of focus. Anyway, thanks for sharing this colourful personality!
Cheers, Uma

hi gannu,
this red headed reptile is looking staright in to the lens, looks like he isnt comfortable with the unwanted attention, you have given him international exposure by presenting on TN,(just joking)
I liked the pov, composition is too tight, you have chopped off the tail, the leaf on the foregroung is over exposed and the focus is a bit soft,(as Mr Thakur has pointed out that you seem to be in a bit of hurry), the colours are wonderful and the reptile has shades of brown, balck & red,
I hope that you dont mind my going into details sometimes when writing on your posts and going a bit too far while criticising your shot but I hope that you will understand my intentions.
These days I have also taken some shots of reptiles and hope to post soon,
best wishes & keep shooting,
pankaj

Narayanan, que le ocurre a esa cámara ???? jajaajaj, parece que desenfoca últimamente. Sorprendente reptil para nosotros. Con vuestro clima tenéis una fauna increíble. Saludos: J. Ignasi
A very goos capture of this multi-coloured lizard, Ganesan.
It must be a rather long one since you have let a bit of its tail go out of the frame.
Good point of view, colours and details.
Well done and TFS.

Hi Ganesh,
I believe this is Calotes versicolor. This lizard has ability to change its colors for camouflaging.
Nicely captured.

A super greetings Ganesh,
Gosh! Another dedication, you guys are too much, I really am honered that you have thought of me. Thank you very much for this momment. I have been gone for several days photographing and I'm sorry I did not get to this sooner. This is one of my favorite variations of the agama species. For as many times I have looked at this species, I am still amazed at the beautiful coloration this fantastic looking reptile displays. Thank you again my friend.
Paul :)

Hello ganesh,
Great shot of a male Agame lizard in colourful breeding splendour. This is fairly sharp and well composed with the long tail judiciously clipped to let us view the more clourful aspects of this lizard. Fine contrast with the grassy BG.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
