You can't imagine how much I would have liked to photograph this amazing grasshopper.
It's like a perfect model for a colour lover like me.

A fine macro moment of seeming ferocity, Narayanan. The colors are exquisite, as are the textures, and you have quality foreground detail. Nice work with the point of view and choice of settings to control the depth of field.

Hello Ganesh,
An excellent close macro of the head and thorax of a colourful grasshopper. The sharpness is excellent showing fine details against the OOF natural BG.
It has the Swedish colours that have been given many interpretations but all are to do with the colours of nature in Summer.

These colors are simply awesome. The WOW came immediately to my mind when I saw the thumbnail. The close capture show us some wonderful detailsand it is funny to see the slightly angy expression. A slightly smaller aperture would have been nice.
