Hi all,
while hiking around Chitkul at around 3,500 metres The scenary looked amazing with snow covered peaks in the background,clear blue sky and thickly forested slopes.The mountains in this pic are natural boundary between Baspa valley and Har ki dun valley of Garhwal. |

Yes I do agree with your photo title. This is indeed an amazing valley. When one look at this photo a feeling of calmness and tranquillity overwhelms you. The colours is bright and the blue of the sky is just perfect. Thanks for sharing. If you where thinking of returning a smiley to me, please have a look at some of these members portfolios. It cannot be missed. Maybe you have seen some of them, maybe not. There are so many but I include only a few links.

I personally think some of these shots deserve a big smiley and because you cannot award your points to me, (look at my intro page for the reason) you might consider to give them to one of these members beautiful photos.
Just remember that 2 pairs of eyes, see things totally different, and you might disagree with my choice, and think I am cuckoos. Writing critiques is a learning school for me, and because I am not a photographer I do not see and look for finer details like you guys. So if you received a smiley from me, it is because I just LOVED what I saw, and it is much appreciated.
