| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Kalatop Wild Life Sanctuary covers a vast area between the hill stations of Dalhousie and Chamba in Himachal Pradesh. Located at a height ranging between 7000 to 9000 feet, the Sanctuary gives shelter to a number of Himalayan wild animals such as black bear, snow leopard, ibex, barking deer, fox and a wide variety of pheasants.
I stayed in this small cottage within the sanctuary in the autumn of 1996 and took this picture in the afternoon after a thunderstorm. It is a scan from an old photograph and hence grainy. |

I really love the composition of this picture. Dried leaves on the foreground and golden color tree on the background, surrounded with evergreen. Such a nice color.

Hi, Ram!
Good photo. The colors are very nice. I know that it is difficult to have a good scan out of a conventional photo, but you have done it ok.
