I wonder if I would be permitted the "poetic licence" of posting a flower picture in sepia here. Anyway, here goes.
These are tiny wild flowers that grow in summers in the western sub-Himalayan region in India, especially in the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.
I shot this macro picture in the summer of 2004 while staying alone for a couple of days in a farm hut in the middle of a derelict apple orchard belonging to a friend of mine from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India.
For its coloured version, please have a look at the WORKSHOP.

Hi Ram,
Unusual and very original posting - a welcome break from all our insects. Sepis adds mood to the portrait

Hello Ram,

Fascinant picture of those little flowers here! You did a great job by doing this but first congratulations to having seen the poetic power of the sepia color applied on this nice picture! The little flowers looks like little sun lighting the whole photo! Excellent composition and pov! TFS,

Michel

No time for a decent critique mf,
BUT a well deserved :)

Hello Ram!
This is a very interesting presantation with sepia mode! I like it a lot really and to me, this is a great choose. That made the composition nostalgic looking. Vertical framing looks so nice also! Coloured version is very nice too but this one is really different and interesting! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Ram,
A very nice composition!
Personally I prefer the full colour image, but I can see fine qualities in the post processed version too!
Sharpness and details are all there, and well framed!
Greetings,
