A fine rose close up Goldy, initially I thought the butterfly was one of the errant petals of the rose, only on second take I realized its presence, quite a nice effect, my friend.

The butterfly is so well integrated with the flower it looks like a part of it, Goldy.
I had taken a similar image of a butterfly resting on a Chinese Rose flower last year.
The focus on the eyes of the subject is very sharp.
Overall, a well composed image.

Hi Goldy,
like Mehmet, i thought that this Butterfly was a part of the flower at first. It sounds like a nice way to spend your time though, chilling by the flowers!
You have cuaght some really eye catching colour here my friend and have chosen a very good low level to get this POV. DOF and is very good too. Nicely done!

could be a white...but may too small..very nice blending of the colour pallet..You would enjoy Paintshop Pro Photo...It's only 79 bucks and does more than CS3! It is what I use most of the time...I have CS2 thanks to someone who got a new one...but I don't use it too much.

I saw the butterfly not first but reading after your note I saw him.
Colors are good but personally i like another composition.
And this time i don't like the kadre! Sorry.
The butterfly are good of sharpnees.

I would stop and have a snack at that rose for sure... I haven't visited your gallery much lately and I missed some great shots! This one is lovely, with beautiful bright colours making the composition alive and fresh. I like the pink against the green and the nice butterfly in front of the frame. I had to have a closer look to discover the butterfly! This is not only a beautiful, but also an amazing picture, showing such a wonderful rose and butterfly together. Maybe the butterfly is a bit overexposed, but nothing that could influence on the beauty of the picture.
