Hi Goldy,
Very nice capture.I'm not an expert but it can be common blue.Well caught and composed. Thanks for posting.

It is a butterfly of the Blues family, Goldy.
It would take you some time to reach its exact ID.
With this image, I believe you have moved into the field of macro photography and that too quite impressively.
This is an excellent capture in which both sides of the wings are visible. The outer blue of the wings is difficult to get because these butterflies rarely open them.
TFS and all the best.

Hi Bro Goldy, superb capture of this butterfly with nice DOF and POV. Great composition. TFS. Cheers,
BayRam

Hi Goldy, wonderfull macro shot of this beautiful butterfly. TFS. Greetings,

Bonjour Goldy
Amicalement
Laurent

Goldy, great shot of this Blue!! good markings and a fine natural colouration. Good timing to capture this one as you did. regards h

I dunno either:-) but it is blue:-) Very pretty blue..I have a Morph blue here but it is mounted and in a box. Perhaps something my father did..he wasn't one to trap them but if he ever found one, he did it in such a way as to memorialize it,.,.,.Well seen.

Hi Goldy,

I am the last person on TN who would be able to ID a butterfly. But this one is very beautiful with lovely colors and good details. It's wonderful to see the two sides of the wings. Nice composition on the green leaves.

Hello Goldy,

beautiful blue coloured butterfly.
This one are escaped from the birds, see the wings or this is an older Butterfly.
I personally see him more to the left because he looks to the right.

Hi Goldy!

You enlarge the palette of your photographical work with macro pictures, and that is not easy. I like this simple picture very much. Simplicity is one of nature's most valuable characteristic.

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Goldy,
This is a little beauty! I like those soft tones of colors, nice details and exposure. My nit is about composition. I would have left more space in front of your little subject instead of behind... The picture would have been IMOH more efficient. This is an agreeable post of a superb specie anyway ;)) Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Goldy,
Looks like Polyommatus icarus. Not sure.
But good image and I agree with RAM Sir. Nice image with open wings. I will come again

Hi Goldy, splendid Lycaenidae with fantastic colors, superb details and excellent sharpness, very well done, have a good week end, ciao Silvio
PS I never see before this butterfly, may be Everes alcetas, but I'm not sure, I'm sure that it isn't Polyommatus

Hi Goldy,
A nice capture of this beautiful butterfly. Excellent sharp details and a fine composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hallo Goldy
A dainty butterfly with spectacular shades of blues on the outerwings and white with splashes of brown on the underwing. It is a tiny and I am sure very fragile insect. A beautiful species well captured. The clarity of the eye and antenna body is well seen and displayed. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
