A nice macro from your archives of a Drone Fly (Eristalis sp.), so called because it resembles the honey bee drone. It is a type of hoverfly.
The POV shows most of its features with good general sharpness in a nice composition with the tagetes flower.

Lovely macro capture of the dronefly with superb details! The marigold flower gives great contrast to the lovely fly. The blurry dark BG works well here. The sharpness and POV are perfect.

Ram, what happened to your 105mm! This is a good result for 70-300, but i'm sure with 105mm u would have got that extra punch :-), Lovely colors!

Fine details in the insect, and it is no wonder they are attracted to colourful flowers like this!
Pleasant macro work, DoF is just fine leaving the unimportant parts in a blur...
Strong colours where the lovely orange contrasts well with the green background!
