Hello Subhash,
Another excellent and familiar view of the Indus! Great DOF, great sharpness and I love the colours of the mountains and the turqoise river. I wás there in 1996 - I expect tourism is affecting Ladakh much more today.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Hello Subhash!
Monumental view of beautifull river. Colour of Indus is so different from colour of sky, but both are looking great. DOF is very good. Amazing place.

Hi Subhash,
This looks like a awesome but very hot place. And I am sure that many little gems are located in this canyon like landscape.
I do however need to mention that the photo looks far from sharp and that the heavy rotation does not do any good to the photo. The composition with the FG rock and the river leading the eye is however perfect.
TFS,
Niek
I also am not sure about the rotation of this image. It feels odd to me. It is an interesting scene though. I always find it interesting that the land can be so barren on either side of a river. One would think that enough moisture would penetrate the banks to allow some some life.

Hello Subhash! Very impressive landscape shot, good details and great pov, thanks!

I see what others are saying and agree, but I think what you may have been trying to do was to keep the river itself looking straight..so in the process you might have slightly over corrected....having said that though and since I know where ethics was taken and is one of my most esoteric and unusual spots...which I would love ti visit when the world becomes free of wars....I shall grant you a pass...You know I would love see Leh!

Hello Subhash,
The view is prefect and beautiful. I like the stream of water flow in the middle of the frame. Perfect frame and beautifull landscape. Well done dost. Ganesh

hello dr sab :-0
The view from here must be great, this looks like a gem of a place for doing landscapes, the various layers of the earth creates a beautiful effect , liked the pov and the composition, i would have surely liked it to be more sharper. i have realised from my small experience of shooting landscapes that its one of the most difficult genre of photography and it requires a lot of hard work to get good landscapes shot,
well done,
tfs & regards

Fantastic bird's eye view of the river, Subhash. In 1988, I was walking around in Ladakh with my school boys and we had a close view of this river from Alchi Gompa.
I had no camera then, so thanks for bringing back the images recorded on my brain 20 years ago.
Regards.

Hi Subhash,
this is an interesting scene. Our eyes follow the water to the end and to the hills in the BG. It does look tilted and not very sharp though.
