Ageratum houstonianum.
Synonyms: Ageratum caeruleum, Ageratum mexicanum.
Common name: Mexican Floss Flower.
Plant: 60cm. Erect gregarious herb.
Flower: 1.2cm across. The fluffy, soft flower heads are borne as dense clusters of many flowers.
Native of Peru, Mexico, naturalised in India. This is a garden escape.
The juice of the plant is used externally to treat cuts and wounds.

Hello Nirmal,
This is a beuatifully composed capture of this species of Ageratum. Excellent sharpness and the colours of the flowers contrast well with the dark natural OOF BG in great lighting.
