Hello dear neighbour,

You are so lucky to find these dragonflies in Noida.On the other side of the city ... i havent been able to find a single one after Mrs.Skimmer came and left that day!

You present a lovely shot with a fine PoV and good DoF...Its colour reminds me of the skimmer female but i think mine tunred a little golden because of the sunlight.But this one is indeed golden in colour.The banded abdomen looks quite a nice golden yellow.

The diagonal composition and the muted Bg helps very much in maintaining the focus on the subject.

hello sir,

i am trying to find one dragonfly this season to start shooting them but with no success so far. one day when i went to field nereby i found so many of them with good variety but wasnt having the camera with me.

This one is a nice capture, i liked the pov and the composition very much, the golden color of the insect looks so beautiful here,

A very clear and detailed shot.
I just love the filigree wings and the fact that you can see the legs through them!
The image is nicely isolated from the neutral b/g and very nicely composed.

What a brilliant capture of this lovely yellow dragonfly with beautiful black-veined wings. A fine diagonal composition in good light and against a lovely soft background.
I don't seem to have much success with my dragonfly photography so far this summer!

Hi Mr. Ram,
A superb sharp capture of this beautiful dragon fly. I think it is a female globe skimmer but not sure. Superb details and a lovely composition. The only nit is you could have cloned out the white spot beneath. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I am trying to imagine the male clashing blue and this colour...hmm... Very sharp Rasm. Good notion on waiting to post. I am not as patient which sometimes shows in my work habits as well. but you seem to me as a meticulous man who likes the details both in image and word.

Hi Ram,

I'm surprised you've held on to this since May without posting it. A beautiful capture of this lovely female dragonfly. I love the wings - she seems to be draped in veils. Beautiful pose, colors, details, background and diagonal composition.
