[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
With frequent showers of rain these days, the earth has turned greener, the summer heat has lessened and insects have started getting visible.
This sole king of his harem -- a Scarlet Skimmer -- obliged me with a few shots this morning. There were a number of female Scarlet Skimmers eager to be photographed. I obliged some and ignored others. Anyway, I decided to show you the king first. Hope you like him.

Hello Ram
Perfect compo, great vivid colors and I like the white frame. Sharpness is quite good. I think that you could do a little noise reduction here but it is not the most important thing Also very good informative note

Best wishes ;-)

Hola Ram.
Preciosos contrastes y excelente PoV.
Buen comentario.
Saludos, JL.

Ouch! Rain and yet a hot Chile pepper of a dragonfly Ram;...and so well seen against the deep green lush background. I certainly hope you get the moisture you need. It seems water is a huge issue worldwide now...I predicted it decades ago but nobody listened to me..ah well such is the life of a lonely voice in the wilderness....

Hello Ram,
What a fine splash of colour!
This striking male Scarlet Skimmer contrasts beautifully with the OOF green BG and I like the POV, tail-up pose and composition very much. This together with the sharpness make this a fine image.
TFs this beauty,
Best wishes, Ivan

Hello Ram,
A lovely composition showing this bright red dragonfly in a fine pose! With its tail up it must be feeling hot in spite of the rain! It stands out sharply against the green leaf and I like its perch.
TFS and kind regards, Ulla

Hi Ram i liked it, Good colors and composition on the nit side i think the leaf that this guy is reseting is little overexposed.
But any way its always a pleasure to see your picture

Hi Ram,
Very nice capture.I liked especially vivid colors a lot.
Thanks for posting.

Hello Ram. your capture of dragonfly always in pristine sharpness and detail. This is of the same top quality first class image. The perch is really unique on that blade of grass. You have muted the background pleasantly and thanks for sharing. Best regards. Jusni

Hi Ram,
Outstanding shot of this gorgeous looking dragonfly with rich colours and details. Great contrast between the green leaf and red body of the dragonfly lets it stand out elegantly. Very neat and sharp image with perfect lighting. I like your POV to portray it and the composition. Kudos.
