Hi Nara,it's too hard for our europeans know the name of this damselsfy ftom your tropical country,it seem from the family of Platycnemis but i'm not sure.The pic is a great beauty,perfect colors,light and details,have a nice day and thanks for share,Luciano (this is your 300th post,nothing better to celebrate!!)

A great damselfly shot, Ganesan.
The species is very beautiful and your image has brought forth the best of its features and colours.
The other day I had a harrowing time trying to shoot an inch long blue and yellow damselfly in the garden. The macro lens just failed to focus on it. Like you rightly mentioned, it was a hot afternoon and I was sweating like a waterfall. In the end, I just gave up!

Excellent macro of this lovely damselfly!
Great sharpness achieved on the entire length of the body plus wings here pointing to a spot-on DOF setting.
I also admire the colors and the exposure here.
