[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is actually a MAKHANA- a tuskless male elephant. In India,unlike its african cousins, female doesnot have tusks! Only male have Ivory-tusk. This Makhana was aiming for this female for almost half an hour and it seperated this small female elephant- which is still young - and was trying to mate. You can see the Corbett landscape in the background. It was taken at around 10am, near Dhikala.

A very interesting photo, I suppose that these units lived in freedom and were wild, I I imagine the photo a little more panoramica, in extended form more and clearing a piece of the superior part. You have obtained a good result. Congratulations.
