[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An elephant ride commands a breathtaking view of the Dhikala "chaur" - grasslands with widespread elephant-grass and the Ramganga reservoir. The Dhikala chaur in the Corbett Tiger Reserve on an early summer morning was "surpassingly grand and incomparably beautiful".

I have clicked this photograph during morning hours at Dhikala, Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve from elephant's back. What you see here is grassland (locally known as chaur) with herd of spotted deer (Axis axis). Towards horizon you will see river Ramganga heading for reservoir/barrage.

This is a nice aerial view from your Elephant ride. These Dhikala sure blend in well to their environment. An interesting view indeed.

An excellent shot, Ranjan. I love anything to do with Dhikala...And this is an excellent shot of these chitals doing what they do best.
Also, I'll be irregular till I get a new comp, Ranjan. The old one's declared it's down n out!can't even get to use the simplest of PP softwares!
