Hi Goldy,
I have seen your workshop images and read your note.
Do you mean to say that this animal in the picture was killed by the tigress a few moments later after you had photographed it?
Then this is the first-ever most poignant picture on TN.
The deer looks lovely and it does feel bad that the tigress might have already re-cycled it by now.
All said and done, this is a wonderful image.
Thanks and all the best.

Hi Goldy
watching a tigress hunting in a jungle is a great experience!
and Corbett national park is just a heaven!
you have witnessed the great drama of indian wildlife
loved the composition of this picture
regards
vihang
Dear Goldy,
Great to read this story & sad to see that by now hardly any DNA evidence of this stag is left at JCNP. Your clicked pictures have a charisma which has made it's landmark on the globe with very many stalwarts ! Bravo.

That is one huge rack....Racks are what we ref the antlers here in the US. Not sure if it is common in other countries, although I believe Canada uses the term in application to beer:-)
I have not seen this type of antlers before Goldy so that alone makes it a unique image for me..Very nicely done in your style!

Hello Goldy,
An excellent capture of this stag looking good against the vegetation and trees. It looks like the deer were trapped between the tigress and the tourists, judging by your interesting WS images.
You must witness many interesting incidents in your job at Jim Corbet's NP and thanks for sharing this one.
Best wishes, Ivan

Hi Goldy,
I know it's nature and the survival of the fittest but it is so sad to know that this beauty was the tigress' meal. With all the excitement you still managed very nice shots. A beautiful animal which you captured very well and a lovely setting.

hello Goldy
excellent shot of the Chital, with fine POV, DOF and vertical framing,
with a sad story for this adorable wild animal but these are thing
that happen in nature, today i was looking at the TV how a artic fox
had in his mouth 3 or 4 chicks of snow geese, TFS

This is one fellow I don't want to lock horns with! On one hand he reminds me of a fawn, but on another, a fawn with loaded daggers on that head of his. :)
I like his stance - he seems to be posing for you. :)

Hi Goldy
What a thrilling series of events. I'm glad you included all the shots even if the tigress one was blurred. It added to a whole photo story
