A beautiful animal and a beautiful picture. The Stag is wonderful in the tall grass. Beautiful colors and superb details of the face, horns, and spotted coat. Sad to think he will end up being a tiger's meal.

You really do have some fancy antlered bests there Goldy.Here in the US...this is considered by many to be some sort of manly prize in hunting..My guess is that is not allowed there? Well seen.

Hi Goldy,

This is a beautiful composition, what a stunning looking Chital Stag, wonderful markings, very impressive pair of antlers, lovely and sharp, my daughter and I were driving into town the other day it was early and the fog was still pretty thick, and much to our surprise we saw a Stag and a deer in a field as we drove past it was an amazing site, but one of those I wish I had my camera moments :(
