I am not cetain what this rodent like animal is, I do not think it is a rat but a vole from the "Alticola" family....they have small tails, where a rat has a long hairless tail.

Try typing in "Alticola" on the search engine and see what you get...sorry to be of little help.
It is a lovely image, great POV and detail.

Hi Karanvir,
You won't find this one if you are searching for a Rodent. This is a Lagomorph. Genus Ochotona - mostly likely on range would be one of the races of Ochotona roylei. Cute little guy!

EDIT: Not to be a stick in the mud. I am acquainted with this genus. It is related to the Rabbits. It is not a rodent. This is Ochotona - Pica, or Pika species. It is not a Vole.

RE-EDIT: I tried sticking a link to Google images in the discussion thread. Apparently html links do not link there, so am trying here: http://images.google.it/images?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGLJ_enIT224IT224&q=Ochotona&oe=UTF-8&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi

Well, it did not take here either. You will just have to select the whole link and paste it in.

Hi Karanvir,
It is tailless rat called PIKA
