Found a handsome Sambhar deer stag on the river bed of Ramganga river at Dhikala, Corbett National Tiger Reserve. He stopped to give me a nice pose and then left chasing a female ;)

Sambhar (Cervus unicolor) happens to be the largest of all Indian deer.

Hi Subash,
Nice clear visual of your subject, cropping out those dark undefined areas on the left and right of the pic would have enhanced your photo.Nice pic, keep them coming.

Hello Subhash, What are the white BG. I thought for a moment it is snow. But it is not. Anyway lovely clarity and good composition Ganesh

Ranjan,
Ramnagar is a town that is on the outskirts of the Jim Corbett National Park. When you say the name of the city is Ramnagar, I feel you dwarf the park, which is at least a 100 times larger than Ramnagar.Just a request, please call the National Park by its name and that way we also remember the wonderful person in whose memory this has been named.
This is a beautiful shot of this majestic Sambhar.
I love the frame and the wonderful details you've captured.
Very well done!
Cheers!
Goldy
