Kaladhungi, home to the legendary Jim Corbett...
Again, in a state of mind seeking tranquility.
Here's another of my fav poets, Lord Byron, talking about solitude...

"To sit on rocks, to muse o'er flood and fell,
To slowly trace the forest's shady scene,
Where things that own not man's dominion dwell,
And mortal foot hath ne'er or rarely been;
To climb the trackless mountain all unseen,
With the wild flock that never needs a fold;
Alone o'er steeps and foaming falls to lean;
This is not solitude, 'tis but to hold
Converse with Nature's charms, and view her stores unrolled."
-Solitude by Lord Byron

Hi Goldy!

Another beautiful forestscape. I like the lighting on the trees here especially. Color space is very nice too. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

I see you are with Romantic poets, Goldy.
The lines of Byron match perfectly with the quiet and solitude of the place you have shown in this picture.
Thanks for sharing it and all the best.
Ram

You share my love for landscapes and when it comes to the woods...this is most interestingly different than woods as which I am used to...Tres Bien!

Hello Goldy,
Wonderful words only enrich this beautiful setting. Often when I am walking in the forest I wonder if I am the first human to see this scene. Thank you for sharing this wonderful image and posting.

Dear Goldy,
Is this the roadside jungle which one crosses through Moradabad-Bajpur-Kaladhungi? Amazing capture by you of something ordinary people just wave off. I appreciate what Mr Ram Thakur & Bob have mentioned.
Regards-Ranjan

Hello Goldy

another wonderful shot of a forest and with a beautiful poem,
as i already wrote you, i love the forest, the woods,
here in your image i love that the first line trees are
in againt daylight effect, in French we say « en contre-jour »

Hello again Goldy, you're a real poetry lover and these poems are so beautiful to read, all unknown to me with my French background and culture. You love the forest too, I can tell by your pictures and isn't strange that somehow it looks similar? Your forest here is like gold, with beautiful silhouettes and beautiful light underlining the textures of the trees. Thank you!

Hi Goldy,
Wonderful shot of this lonely but dense forest. Superb colours and effects of light and shadow and I like the natural ambience portrayed here. You are so lucky to be moving around there and I am sure a tune must have crossed you mind then. Majestic setting. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hi Goldy,
Again a nice capture of this sal forest along with a beautiful poem. True is that my English is not that good so I understood a little from the poem. But I like it very much. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Goldy. The diagonal light is just wonderful across the densely populated trees. Stunning image displaying solitude. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hello Goldy

Wow this is a lovely composition.The vertical look of the forest and the way the warm light is filtered by it is wonderful.
Well composed from a lovely POV.
Very good DOF.

Hi Golds,
A very fine forestscape with the patches of light filtering through the trees adds a very nice golden color.
