Hi Goldy!
I like this picture very much! The composition with the way going to one and the line of the (dead?) trunks to the other side is just superb! And I love the sky: wonderful different gradations of grey, pastel-like and so delicate. Indirect light provides so beautiful pictures!
Kind regards
Markus

Hi Goldy,
I received you message for my las photo. Some times I am very busy, so I take a beak myself to upload photo on TN. But, do not worry, all right. Thank you very much for your interest my friend.

Mustafa
a highly unusual image. Now this is a place of geology and nature clashing together in some dynamic way Goldy. I shall try to find the location on Google mapping and see what this is all about. Very nice image because it teaches or at best raises questions...you are enlightening!

Hi Goldy,
A nice shot of this grass land. But having spent a week touring all over this park,I am a bit skeptical about its future. The Park authorities are more concerned about tourism than Park management.Several poaching cases of tigers are reported to have been suppressed,Weeds like lantana are taking over wiping off indigenous species.Even grass lands are being over run by weeds.

Hi Goldy,
This looks more like a painting than a photograph! How I would love to return to India to see this park and others. I love the composition with the bare trees to one side of the trails. Beautiful colors and a very atmospheric sky.

Grandi distese, alberi morti, montagne lontane, nuvole minacciose... una lunga strada ....Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Hi Goldy.
Thanks for the visit. It's been awhile since I spent time in here, so it is nice to get around to new galleries.
This is actually a scene that a lot can be done with it. The rule of thirds seems adequately applied, and the loneliness in it shows emotion.
This could also be a decent print for a B&W with high contrast.
I do like the colours too.
It reminds me of a saying or song "The road less traveled".

I like this shot immensely for two reasons, Goldy.
First of all, it is a very well composed frame with the right kind of placement of major features like the road, the burnt up trees and the hills in the distance.
Secondly, it is a technically excellent picture with perfect projection of the ambient mood of an overcast day with the hint of impending rain.
Thirdly, it gives a very good impression of the Park in terms of land forms, vegetation and general outlook.
The note, as usual, is well written and quite informative.
TFS and all the best.

Hi Goldi, lovely landscape with beautiful soft colors, great light, very well done, ciao Silvio
Hi Goldy
Thanks for this interesting landscape photo. We don't often see this kind of landscapes and it is really so necessary to capture nature in its simplistic or factual appearance. The spectacular and the ordinary or the exotic and the regular. The track leading off, who knows where, but up ahead there is some mystery or surprise waiting for the inquisitive discoverer. A heavy laden sky up ahead, will it bring life giving rains, does it hold devastating floods, or will it disappear bringing nothing of the promise. Dead trees to the side, where once was live, but they still carry the energy that the sun and the earth invested in them to recycle and replenish and to promote new growth. The cycle of life.
Yes, I know, it has little to do with your specific note and history of the area, but as they say, "A picture tells a thousand words". Being detached from the region this one probably whispered a slightly different story in my ear then what it told you. Isn't that the very ingredient that makes nature so dynamic?
Good work and TFS.

Hello Goldy
A lovely capture.
The composition is simple and beautiful.
I really like the craggy trees and how the dirt track leads to the hills.
The lighting creates an interesting atmosphere.

Hi Goldy!
Sharpness is outstanding from you! Composition is a hit as always and layers are wonderfully represented. The calm mood I like very much.
Sorry for being so short, for a few weeks it will remain because of work. TFS!
Best regards,

Hi Goldy, I like your composition in this shot, with the road leading off in a meandering path into the grass, and those dead trees. The hills are done very well with seeming layers between each row due to the mist effect. The split is very good, with 2/3 given up to that stormy sky and the 1/3 on the bottom for the sharp looking grass.
Thanks, John
