Elephant charge#1
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
During our three day stay at Jim Corbett National Park, we experienced five elephant charges. Two of the charges were by this full-grown tusker. Here he is just about starting his charge.
These charges are ususally mock charges, but we did skip quite a few beats when the elephants came really close. |

He does look scary Swati - you wouldn't want to get too close.
Good catch showing us his expression and boby-language - he does look unhappy with you.
Well done you brave man!!

Hi Swati,
He really looks to be in a playful mood. You were lucky to see these beautiful animals at such a close distance. I could see them only from very far, that too almost hidden in the tall grass. Perhaps, I always went in the wrong season. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Very nice portrait of this ageing tusker Swati. However the colors seem a little too warm.
