Hello Goldy,
What a beautiful simple composition in beautiful colour tones. Very well composed with the stark naked trees in a row in the foreground.I've heard a lot about this park which must be fantastic to visit. Even if one doesn't succeed in seeing these wonderful remaining wild animals it would be magic just to know they're still around you. Well done!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

This is a beautiful capture Goldy!Nice composition.
Thanks for mentioning me in the note. And yes, I have been referring to the park as Jim Corbett, but will keep in mind to mention it as a NP next time onwards.

Hi Goldy,
What a stunning landscape, love the layers you have created from that splash of green in the foreground right though to the mist covered hills in the background, beautiful coloured tones, excellent use of the rule of 3rds, really well framed and composed, all the best,
Cheers Rick :)

The distant hills with the changing colours always give a good look to an image. And the stark dead trees make it all look more interesting, Goldy. Well composed, and the Jim Corbett National Park looks a wonderful place to visit.

Hey Golds,
Very artistic shot. I like the brown and green grass at the bottom. Probably you could have used a little more of the green using the rule of thirds. The charred trees really tell a story.

Someone else might know the name of the artist/painter whose paintings are done in this same or at least still un-named similar style. very well seen. I would have know you took it right of. As long as you do your unique imaging, I can tell...Sometimes you slip into what might be considered a mainstream mode..but here you show off this unusual tactic very well..

Hi Goldy,
I think the title should have been, "The Naked Trees." No better description than that. The scene is beautiful in its simplicity with the mist making it very atmospheric. I love the composition with the layers leading from the green grass to the grey sky.

Dear Goldy,
I have moved to Mumbai from Delhi on permanent transfer. You have many beautiful shots from Dhikala and very many must be in the pipeline. Keep on posting to the benefit of all TN members to see how much of biodiversity this part of subcontinent has....I believe there was a massive fire recently which has damaged Tiger Reserve to a great extent. Refer: Corbett Fire. God bless.

You make me see India in another fashion than the India I have created in my mind and what we are used to see. There is a lot in this picture looking like Africa, maybe it's the heat created by the perspective compressed by the zoom. I love the tender green followed by the smooth golden grass where the trees stand. This layered composition is stunning and very well seen. Thank you!

Hello Goldy
A lovely capture,I like the composition.
The dead trees are make an interesting subject.
The mute colours are very well saturated and the strip of green at the bottom really sets off the composition.

Hello Goldy. the title looks right and the image is dreamy. Well done and thanks for sharing. Jusni
Hi Goldy
If you're not yet on the payroll of the Jim Corbett National Park then it is high time the folks down there should give it serious consideration. Single-handedly you are doing astonishingly great work, no remarkably amazing work, for this sanctuary through your spirited and incessant advertisement and by your love for the place. Respectfully I am ever impressed when reading your notes about this wonderful place. Great stuff.
Those trees have majestic character in death, but as nature is, it never takes without giving back. Someday soon, possibly to your dismay because of the loss of the temperament background, you will find these trees starting to disappear, one-by-one, and it would be because it is time for them to pay-back to the earth. They will go into their next phase of becoming one with the earth again and providing sustenance to the ground so that something else can grow again in their place. The wonderful continuing cycle of life.
I just love this composition. The eye meets the sparkling and colourful entry of the short green grass at the bottom of the frame that changes into the zone of warm yellows of the longer grass. Then moving on to the row of charred trees the eye lingers to absorb and appreciate all their intrinsic and diverse beauty and suddenly ones view is displaced into the distant rolling layers of hillside disappearing in the mist until it becomes one in colour and consistency with the grey sky in the back. I feel compelled to say "great stuff" once more.
Excellent work seen as a complete package which includes the photo and the notes and TFS.
Regards
Loot
PS. Thanks for your patience with the delay, but I hope it was worth the wait (chuckle).
