This is the view from the Dhikala Tourist Resthouse, it stays submerged during the monsoons thru Winter.
I love the serenity of this place.Yes, the orange/brown spots you see in the foreground are Chitals...
TFL!

Hi Goldy,
Nice lanscape. Remote forest is a bit hazy. Are the brown things front are chitals?

Hi Goldy,
We are neighbours today :o) Wonderful open view of this special environment, the touch of water vapour from the tres really adds some nice movement and mood. I laso like the way you have composed the view too, half and half forest and grassland, nice work indeed.
Paul

Hi Goldy,

Very nice landscape. Good composition and colours. Is it smoke or low clouds above the forest?

Hi Goldy, splendid landscape with beautiful forest and lovely clouds details, very well done, ciao Silvio

Your style has this unusual method of depth...and I cannot for the life of me figure out how you do it. I suspect you may not know either, but if so perhaps you should start taking notes...it is pure Goldy!

Hi Goldy,

Such a simple landscape and so beautiful. The fog or low clouds in the trees are such a nice contrast to all of the greens. You have composed this very well.

Jane

Dear Goldy,
You have captured beautiful chaur of Dhikala. It required few adjustments; which I have done & finally sharpened the image to make deer prominent in the foreground through the WS . Hope you like this change.:)
Regards-Ranjan
PS: The chaur is painted green now (I had seen it absolutely dry).

Hello Goldy, wonderful landscape capture. TFS. Regards,
Bahadır

How often do you travel to this place, Goldy? I have the impression that you live in Delhi, or am I wrong?
Your love for this place gushes from every picture of it.
The heavy rains in the middle of June made me cancel my programme to go to the Park and spend a day there before moving on to my next destination. What a pity the monsoon dried up and spoilt my plans!
This view for the time being is enough for me to regret over what I missed this summer.
It is a lovely picture and thanks for sharing it.

Hello Goldy. Beautiful shot of this dreamy scene. I like the green and the mist in horizontal perspective. Well done. Jusni

Hello Goldy,

I think you capture the atmosphere of the rainy season well!
The impression of the moist air comes well through, as the fog is hovering over the rain forest...
A pleasant layered composition, good mood!

Greetings,
Pablo -

I have stopped posting in TN now, but I'm dropping by once in a while...

Hello Goldy,

Very nice picture of this grassland. Good composition. Very good capture of the fog in the trees. Good soft light and great colours.
Cheers,
Mariki

Hi Goldy,
This place looks huge. The Chitals in the FG look like pieces of grass and give great sense of scale to this vast open plane. I love the morning fog comming out of the trees.
TFS,
Niek
