Great timing to get this mating pair. I love the colors! I had the same problem with my S2IS. I finally gave up and have had much more success with the S5IS. I'm not sure what makes the big difference between the two.

Hello Goldy,
Did you try to use a higher f/stop on the S2! I do not known if your S2 can be fit with a adaptor so that you can use a 58mm macro len (magnify 10x) hope this will help on your S2

Hey! No I'm in good shape..Just got my Canon today...and I shall show you guys/gals a thing or t3wo as soon as I spend three years reading this extensive Canon book....ah well I hope I get my moneys worth...

as per image...well...it is a butterfly for sure there Goldy..and in true Goldy fasion. You have that technique which works in many areas...perhaps it works better in your landscapes which I cannot beat with a stick...you're way too good at that....keep on my friend (*why do we all say my friend...it seems like it is as catchy as a cold...).I am learning to love the world thru folks like you!

Hello Goldy, What a coincidence. You and Ram sir posting on the same subject. The picture is nice but somehow the frame is too large to the picture. Not a bad one but little striking. The object comes second and the frame comes first. Good shot and dont worry about camera and keep presenting. Ganesh
