[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Gert is one simple human being, his shots are simple, like him, yet, so beautiful. His words are straight and critiques are genuine.I remember that this simpleton was perhaps amongst the last to know about
the Sumon da/Will get back later issue (I still feel this place is still not the same, as it used to be). And even then, his concern was so genuine...But without digressing any further, thank you, Gert, for being real not just in your beautiful shots, but also in spirit!

This shot was taken at an altitude of 10000 feet ASL. These beautiful flowers, just short of a centimetre in diameter, were growing off the rocky stones on the hills as we went trekking. I do not know the ID, but one young man, who was our guide on the trek, told me that this is a weed of sorts!
What a beautiful weed!

Great dedication to our friend, Gert! I know he is great admirer of flowers.

Sadly, I must share with you that I was surprised when I first saw this capture...as I can't believe that it belongs to you!
This doesn't fulfill your quality standard, yaar! Most of the flowers are out of focus (though some of them even OE, and even it is very hard to see which one of them you really want to get focused..and the off-centered position of your copyright text, simply declines the quality of work immensely.
Hope to see a better capture from you next time..

Love the end of your last paragraph "...What a beautiful weed!" For a moment I thought one could "smoke" it.
These are wild high altitude "daisies"; most common here in higher elevations in Alberta.

Your flowers are very pretty, even if they are a weed. They look similar to a Chrysanthemum (one of many varieties) or a type of daisy. I'll have to see if I can ID for you. What ever the flowers are they are colourful and I like the way the sunlight brightens them up.
