You are one heavy thinker for someone who takes simple images and morphs them. Perhaps it is best this way. It is you. I find your images alone intriguing enough, but when you get philosophical in words and ancient rhymes of other times...it is enthralling.

I love your posts not only for the beautiful pictures but for your beautiful words. Your notes are always delightful to read. It's been a long time since I have walked thru the woods but this brings back many memories. Beautiful scene with the wonderful light and shadows.

I think the poem really represents the image as everything is not always what it seems, such a place is not really quiet and empty... you were alone but surrounded with life! Great picture Goldy, I really like the soft and beautiful effect there is in the leaves of the trees. The light is fantastic and to come up with that result is superb because I try to photograph in the woods but seem to have some problems between what I see and what comes out... whereas in this picture it seems true and natural, congratulations!

This is very beautiful, it could almost be from our pine forest here. I love the glimpses of light between the trees and the undulating ground. Beautiful colours and well composed. I like the poem too!
