[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello All

I am not regular and not finding time to put my picture as I dont go out to shoot. One is time and second is not able to hold the heavy lens. I asked papa to get me a handheld camera. Hope I get it soon.

Two days back papa was watering the plant and I was getting ready to school. He saw this lovely creature on the top of the leaf and called me to take a shoot. I was taken surprise by the design and the color to match with the leaf. This is my shot. It was in the morning and had no sunlight. Hope you all like it. I think this belong to the Locust/Grasshopper family. please correct me if I am wrong.

Hello Vignesh,Nice shot and you have handled the POV very well here. Good show. Ganesh

Hi Vigi,
A nice capture of this full grown bush cricket. Very well composed shot with sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

hi vignesh,
i can see a cricket here, right. good capture, young fellow. if you want to become good photographer follow certain standards. don't crop images like this, try to use the space that you see through your viewfinder, your subject and other things around it. make good composition. if you have to crop, do it to go with your original size, use 4x6, 6x9, 8x12 etc., intially you may find it difficult later you will find it more easy to fill the gaps. no odd size cropouts. checkout my images. tfs.

I too shot this Daddy Long Legs once a few years ago and I also could not keep its long antennae within the frame, Vignesh :)!
However, due to this shortcoming, I did not post that image on TN.
So despite tight cropping, you have captured this insect very well. The colours of the insect and leaf match so much you could call it a camouflage factor.
Keep shooting whenever you find time.
Well done and TFS.

BEautiful shot, Son!
