Friends,

While roaming for insect to shoot, I found these two butterflies sitting on the flower and enjoying their nectar. No fuss and no fighting. Probably they know how to share among themselves. I found the scene quite interesting and just managed to click one shot. The wings went oof and I have cropped the image to give more focus on the face and the legs.

hi ganesh,
though its a grab shot, still very good. looks like they are grass yellows busy and something very rare sharing space on this small flower (Tridax procumbens). tfs.

Hello Narayanan,
That is a very clever and unusual POV of these two butterflies sharing a little flower. When I first saw the thumbnail, I could not figure out what it was.
The details on the flower and the heads of the butterfly are very sharp, and bring attention to those part as the focus of your composition.

Hi NG,
The emphasis on sharing the same resource is brought out well in the picture. And with both the butterflies having the wings closed, it also brings to note the clear angle or distance we should maintain so as not to disturb others if a balance is to be maintained in ecology. Sharing wouldnt happen successfully, if each one fought for their own space.. We need to learn a lot.
I guess i got too philosophical on that one. That is the way i see the picture..
