| Pigeons inside Kamakhya temple live alongside humans without any fear at all. I noticed that they have almost done away with the habit of flying and I cud touch them without alarming them the least!! Some devotee had somehow found this pigeon holy and sprinkled 'kumkum' (used in Hindu religeon to worship God) on it. |

Hi Victor,
I have never seen a pigeon as beautiful as this. Colors and plummage are just wonderful. He seems to be looking right at you and as you say doesn't seem bothered by your presence at all. Very interesting notes to go along with the nice photo.
