I found it perching on the fence across the thick Nagaland bamboo jungle..

Hi Mohd,

I'm not sure if it is a Chameleon or not...
Anyway, great shot of this mystery lizard. (I know it definitely is a lizard!!:)) Good DOF and amazing sharp details and the composition is just right. The blurry BG is also very effective.

Maybe the depth of field is not perfect (some parts of lizard are out of focus) but it is a very interesting presentetion with very interesting (and not known for me) object. But I believe that this is not a chameleon but some species of agama :)

Hi Tabrez,
This is a male Common Garden Lizard in breeding time colours. This is a common and widely distributed species and luckily this is the breeding time for lizards. Unfortunately the image is not the best and the focus is soft but you present a fine species here. Be ready with your gear you may come across another one and I bet that will be a better shot. Anyway, a nice composition. Kudos.
