Wow, I didn't even know this mountain exists. Kangchenjunga, how interesting to learn about the decision making of that name. What a beautiful picture too, it is magnificent, the light is fantastic and superb with the clouds sticking to the mountain. It is interesting to note that the holy books amount for treasures with gold and gems and grains. You really captured the essence, sacred and mundane, of this mountain. Thank you Sumon,
Francine

It is a beautiful mountain, Sumon.
The light is good. I think this is a cloud and not snow blown away; am I mistaken?
I think I will keep the actual summit sacred as well:-).
Very educational note as well.
Well done

Hi Sumon
This is really a splendid shot of this impressive peak!
The third in the world, huh? i guess that on a clear day, you can take a nice panorama from its top :))
The light on it is really terrific and the stormy winds really add a lot of "action" and drama to this landscape...i just hpoe that there was nobody up there while this was happening...
Beautiful work from you!
Bravo and TFS

Hello Sumon,
Though I have heard a lot about K2, mostly in a mountaineering context, I have never actually seen a picture of it!
So I thank you for this excellent image portraying Mt. Kangchenjunga in great lighting and composition that shows the jet stream blowing the ice crystals away on one side in a golden cloud.
Great to see!

Hello Sumon,
This is brilliant capture of the elements of nature.
The light is well captured shining brilliantly on that peak with the silhouette foliage in the foreground. There must be strong wind from the left creating those amazing effect like an orange cloud in the sky. Very well composed shot and well done!
Best regards and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Sumon,
I think the early light has helped to give it that 3D feel, nice warm colortones and great detail..
The windswept effect or look with the snow to the leeward side works very well :)

Hi Sumon,
Very nice shot of the mythical mount with great exposure control. Really a masterpiece. I also like the WS version, it isn't better, but shows us another perspective with the different colors.
Tfs for showing us this gorgeous shot, best wishes from Hungary, Europe. László
