| This is a shot of Teesta from a bridge near Chungthang in Sikkim. A couple hundred yards away Teesta emerges out of confluence of two rivers Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu. The force of water at this point is monstrous and the river is unbelievebaly deep here. The local Pradhan told us the story of two women jumping into river from where we were standing and how their bodies could never be traced. |
