Red Carpet Welcome
This kind of carpet grass with pinkish red flowers were frequently seen in big patches on my way to Bumla Indo-China border travelling by road from Tawang. It looked as if I was given “RED CARPET WELCOME” by the nature despite of heavy rain & fog all around. This was not the right time to visit this area due to poor visibility every where but I had no choice perse………… :0 ; contrary to this others told me that the monsoon season is the perfect time to trek the so called Valley of Flowers in NE India. You'll be rewarded with the sight of around 300 different varieties of unique floral species enroute to Bumla (The Indo-Chinese International Border) at 15,000 feet ASL.

IT’s a new borns first cry
which brings tear to his mother's eye;
IT’s the old wrinkled hands, desolated by all
but still bless all;
IT’s the fearless soldiers who shed their blood
all for saving millions of stranger s blood;
IT’s the sweet sweat of the homeless laborers
who build houses for others;
IT’s the everlasting smiles of brave sufferers
who silently drink their pain to please others;
IT’s the shoeless feet of the homeless
on a cold foggy winter night,
which still keep moving with their faces smiling
and heads held upright;
all this THE SUPREME SOUL has made
beauty of which will never FADE........
