Autumn marks festivity in most parts of India with Durga Puja in East and Diwali celebrated all over India falling in line one after the other.
The change of season from the hot and humid summers to monsoon to the sight of white feathery cotton like clouds in the blue sky lights up the moods and excitements reminding that autumn has arrived bringing happiness and festivity.
This photograph was taken during my trip this autumn to Sikkim, from Rinchenpong in West Sikkim. Due to global warming and its adverse effects the in the climates all around the globe. The transition from summer to autumn was very short spell. The change from dark to white clouds was a rare sight.
But in Sikkim close to the mountains we could spot plenty of feathery white cirrus clouds floating across the sky. |

Bello paisaje con las nubes bajas en el valle captado con gran color y naturalidad
Buen trabajo
un saludo
You know what, Paromita? You are a good landscape photographer and this amazing view from Sikkim establishes that fact.
The clouds are the theme of this picture; they look particularly lovely, clinging to the valley.
The trees in the foreground give a fine and deep perspective to the landscape. The colours are just right with excellent contrasts.
Good to see your work after a long time.

Hi paromita,
A very beautiful view for a stunning high viewing point. I love the clouds inbetween the mountains and trees and also like the higher positioned cloud layers. This really is sky photo with an extra. You do have a few dirt spots in the center, but those can be cloned away.
TFS,
Niek
P.S. Sorry, no note no points.
