Spot-billed or grey pelican (Pelecanus philippensis) at the pulicat bird sanctuary near Chennai. The Pulicat Bird Sanctuary is a large brackish lake on the south-east coast of India. It is an important wintering ground for several species of ducks and waders (inclduing huge flocks of flamigos), albeit in a significantly human dominated area.

Hi Ravi
very strange compo indeed, but nevertheless appealing. The strange environment and the grey bird just give a very special ambiance.
I like it
great composition, TFS Ori
Hello Ravi,
It's good on captured this grey pelican landing in this pov, if showing more space in front of it will be even better for the composition! just a opinion though!
thanks for sharing
