This is a picture of mother and baby Langur in playful position. I shot this at Bandhipur, a national forest in Karnataka. Langur monkeys feed on leaves and do not plunder on food used by Human beings. In Bandhipur, they are used to human beings and do not feel threatened when you approach them.

Hi Murali,
Good picture ,but where is the foot? If you are shooting close yup , it should be close up of face or partial portarit. But you cannot cut legs like this.Otherwise, a nice picture and good lighting. You can try agin for a perfect shot, sice these monkeys are common and friendly!Afterall our friends.....

nice one, TFS Ori

Such a heartwarming scene of a mother and child. OFten reminds us of a mother's love. I like the softness of the fur here, and am not bothered that i looks just a tad soft, or rather i think you focussed on the body rather than the head. Agree with satish about the legs issue.
